This project was begun at the beginning of 2019 and will be finished by December.
It’s an energy efficient villa of about 230sq m located in La Cala de Mijas Golf.
It’s one of our favourite projects because it incorporates many of the design features we love and it’s also one of the least expensive projects we have on going. We think our clients, who are from Northern Ireland, have done very well both in terms of the lifestyle they will enjoy as well as the value of the asset they are creating.
The property is understated at the rear and then when you enter you are hit by the view across the vaulted ceiling to the view to the sea across the open plan living area, through the glass wall, across the shaded terrace and the swimming pool to the sea.
The first floor has a minstrel’s gallery looking down on the open plan living room and also with a big picture window to the sea.
All the four bedrooms have south facing views.
There is deep shade by the pool for dining al fresco and underfloor heating, an air source heat pump for hot water and heating, extra insulation and high quality good fitting windows and doors will make this not only energy efficient but also very comfortable to live in.
