This plot was a real find but took a couple of years to sort out.
It’s in an elevated position in Torremuelle in Benalmadena. The plot is quite small and is not overlooked by any of the neighbours. It has views South and East and behind to the mountains and slightly obstructed views to the West by the neighbouring property. It’s private and elevated.
The sorting out related to the division of ownership with the vendor who lives in a neighbouring property to the North. There were issues over the access arrangements and the legal division of the plot that has to be recorded at the town hall. As with all our clients we had to make sure they were able to do what they want on the plot legally and within their budget before they bought it.
The design, which has been through a number of iterations, is for a bungalow – no stairs (our clients can grow old in the bungalow if they want to). There are four bedrooms and an open plan living room next to the pool and deep shade for the sunny summer afternoons.
A key feature is the roof terrace: private, large where there may be a pergola and an outside kitchen over looking those fabulous views.
June 2019 the building licence application (Step 3) is in and we are working on the execution project (Step 4).
